During the month of October the officers made their way through
each county introducing the restructuring of AAEYC. We elected
county representatives and have established from this our full
AAEYC board.
“A Special Time for Directors,” February 23rd, 10-1
p.m. with
Ricki Kaplan from East Tennessee State University presenting the
first session from the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, personal
pampering for each administrator in attendance as well as lunch.
NETSACC…We are helping to sponsor the Northeast Tennessee
School Age Child Care Conference on April 5th. Officers and board
members will be present at the conference to assist with registration
and certificates.
We will be partnering with ETSU TECTA July 25-26 for the ETSU Early
Childhood Conference in support of the silent auction and an
AAEYC members appreciation event.
Look for our first annual Infant Toddler Conference coming up
this May. We are excited to be assisting the infant toddler population
with specific training related to this very unique age group.
We will be teaming with ETSU Student Association for Young Children
to bring “Family Fun Day” to the Tri-Cities area
on April 12th for Week of the Young Child, held at East Tennessee
State University.
