In addition, the affiliate designed and had made a new flag for
the TAEYC Conference and other events. The logo will also be used
for any events and publications in the future.
Dean Russ Shubert of Roane State Community College asked the AAAEYC
to participate in the children’s activities with the Annual
Street painting Festival in October. The AAAEYC Co sponsored the
children’s area with TECTA and provided the children with
bouncers, popcorn, temporary tattoos and arts and crafts. It was
well received and the affiliate got excellent public relations
from the event.

The Anderson Area AEYC holds monthly meetings designed to serve as an opportunity to fulfill required professional development training hours, to create an environment in which professionals have an opportunity to share their experiences and talents with one another and to serve as a gathering of resources. Each monthly meeting is open to all early child care professionals and educators involved with children PreK through third grade and interested others. Their is no charge for members and a $5 fee for non-members.
